Mrachek Middle School Replacement

DETAILS

Consists of a two-story structure with approximately 58,000 square feet replacement middle school.
The main level of the school is stepped-up in elevation from south to north with an overall elevation difference of 18.66 feet.
The new middle school was built next to the old middle school, which was kept in use until completion of the new school.
The old school was demolished and the land is now used for athletic fields.
The cost of the project was expected to be $40 million with $16 million coming from Colorado’s BEST (Building Excellent Schools Today) program.
