Joshua Barker, P.E.

Joshua Barker serves as a Principal of Kumar & Associates (K+A) and he strives to maintain strong client relationships while simultaneously developing new clientele.  Developing client relationships into personal friendships is one of the great joys of Joshua’s position.

Joshua has 33 years of geotechnical experience and joined K+A in 1993. He worked his way up in the organization from an entry-level position transitioning into roles with added responsibilities. The progression within K+A included project development, construction management, and corporate leadership roles. While at K+A, he has had the privilege of working on multiple sports stadium projects, large multi-family developments, numerous aviation facilities, and countless municipal CIP projects.

Joshua has served on the Board and is currently an active member of the Colorado Association of Geotechnical Engineers (CAGE) and is currently a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).  He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Colorado, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and Wyoming.
