Environmental Services

K+A offers a variety of Environmental Services. All field personnel are current on Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) training for hazardous waste operations. K+A personnel experiences range from Transaction Screens to multiple environmental services at large property portfolios. We offer the following environmental services:

  • Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESA)
  • Transaction Screening
  • Record Search and Risk Assessments (RSRA)
    • Useful for understanding potential or existing environmental contamination on a property. May be required by lenders or financial institutions
  • Soil Vapor Testing
  • Flammable Gas Investigations (FGI)
  • Radon Testing
    • Used to determine if vapor-forming chemicals from subsurface contamination are migrating into a building’s indoor air
  • Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESA)
  • Limited Site Investigation (LSI) 
    • Used to confirm or deny the presence of suspected contamination on a property through soil, groundwater, and/or gas sampling
  • Stockpile Soil Sampling
  • Groundwater/Dewatering Sampling
  • Material Management Plan (MMP)
  • Excavation Oversight
    • Useful for understanding representative site conditions to determine soil suitability for reuse or ensure regulatory compliance with proper disposal
